Key Dates and Categories
The shortlist will be announced on January 30, 2025, with the winners unveiled on February 15. Titles in Odia will be announced in the first week of February. Awards will be presented in six Hindi categories and seven English categories, with each winner receiving Rs 1 lakh ($1,160).

Event Highlights
The event will celebrate 15 outstanding books across English, Hindi, and Sanskrit languages, promoting literary excellence and India’s rich cultural heritage. Additionally, four exceptional Odia books will be recognised at the annual Kalinga Literary Festival in Bhubaneswar from March 21-23. This year, KLF received an impressive response with over 2000 nominations from publishers, writers, and readers.
