Organised by the Association of Italian Publishers (AIE), the 2023 incarnation was the biggest both by footfall and by exhibitor and event numbers.
Traditionally focussed on small and independent Italian publishers who tend to get lost in the scale of the big Italian book fairs like Torino and Bologna, Più libri più liberi is increasingly attracting international attention.
Rights meetings this year attracted 84 domestic publishers along with 51 international publishers from 23 countries, and 24 professional events were organised.
