Full disclosure: I enjoyed Marvel comics more than DC when I was a kid, but I always had time for the man of steel, whether in comics, on TV or at the cinema. And given the time and opportunity, I’d re-read and re-watch most of them again.

So I loved this romp through comics history by David Harth, and recommend it to anyone who at any time in their life caught the superhero bug.
